First Underwriting Home Insurance – Cover for Ukrainian refugees!

We are shocked and saddened by the suffering of the Ukrainian people.  That’s why we want to make sure we’re doing what we can to support your customers who may be welcoming Ukrainian refugees into their homes as guests.

All First Underwriting Home policies will provide your customers with cover, if they are sharing their home with a Ukrainian refugee who are part of their family, or if your customers are offering a home to Ukrainian refugees as a guest.

To support your customers who are accommodating Ukrainian refugees, we will provide the following cover:

  • We will treat your customers’ Ukrainian guests as a family member, rather than a visitor or paying guest
  • Personal belongings will be covered by this home insurance policy up to the normal policy limits while they’re staying with your customer
  • Theft cover for the refugee’s belongings
  • Preferential terms for Landlords who are housing an Ukrainian refugee (please call us to discuss)

There is no need to inform us if your customers are providing accommodation to Ukrainian refugees.
